I love dahlia so much, and wow my brain just kicked over and informed me that her nam is not delialah, but Dahlia...like the black Dahlia murders LOL!
Anyways just remebered the names of the books I wanted to suggest. The first one is.
"Legend of wolf song" By George Stone. Its an old indian Legend turned into a novel length book, with some really awesome art work. Good luck finding it, its out of print. I think Amazon had it awhile back.
And the other one is Hurry home Candy, such a sad sweet book, I read it as a kid and just reread it yesterday. can't remembetr the Authors name but the artist is the same guy who did Where the Wild things are.
