Sounds like a good plan! Have you looked into low cost spay/neuter programs. Sometimes you can get it done for a much reduced cost! Might be worth checking into.

Dahlia is not THE most playful dog...she's gotten more so since we got her, but she still sometimes doesn't seem to get it. I love when she does and runs around with other dogs.
