I think she want to kill me, yes?

Dahlia got wet today. Really wet. It was snowing really good this afternoon and it was soaking wet snow that got into her fur and then melted all over her. She was cold and unhappy on our walk. When we got back I used the microfiber towel to dry her off. And then couldn't resist taking a few pictures.

Reminds me of my old dog Bouncer, a golden lab cross. Sometimes when I took him out for a walk, he'd take one look at the weather and insist we go back inside again. I had to pull him down the path, and he'd be looking miserable and put upon. And then the wet doggy smell when he got back and he had to be dried down. Some people don't like that smell, but I always did.

Dahlia bounds out into almost any weather, but once out there she realizes it sucks and becomes increasingly unhappy. She really doesn't like heavy rain or anything that gets into her eyes. On the flip side, the driving snow of the recent blizzard? She loved it. Go figure.
