Happy Gotcha Day Dahlia!

crysania4I know most of you know this already, but two years ago today we picked up our pretty girl. It was probably sometime in the next half hour or so that we met up at the exit off the Thruway and brought her home to live with us.
Here's David hugging our very confused new dog. No doubt Dahlia was looking out the window wondering what was going on and why Trish (foster mom) was deserting her.
Here she is in the car on the way home. Poor sad girl!
Here's Dahlia on the porch before entering the cottage for the first time. It was really late at night...almost 11pm by the time we got home! Trish had forgotten her food and so we had to stop off at K-Mart to get her something to eat (you can imagine what we came up with -- Kibble n Bits Wholesome Medley...bleh! They didn't even have Iams or Purina or anything like that!).
And this is Dahlia on our first walk together on the railroad tracks.
