Yay for perky D! This is just a thought, but have you ever ha her thyroid checked? She may just have a hate-on for the heat, but she's such a mellow dog anyway, I'd wonder if everything was A-OK with that. But of course, the wondertwins have skewed my perspective on reasonable canine activity levels :)
