I think Dahlia sounds like a perfect fit for you two.
Assuming your references work out, how soon could you take Dahlia? I would love to hold her until the end of June, but that prevents my being able to rescue other dogs and leaves a long bonding with me time for Dahlia. Plus I have an older rescue dog that is not getting a single inquiry: ( so she is taking up the extra space I have for an additional dog. One of the two has to go and it's not likely to be the older one so it would be great if you two were able to take Dahlia. Obviously, we need to wait until I can speak with the landlord, too.
I feel sad for the older dog though. :-(
