My dog is a faker!

Last night while on our walk, we were heading up into a yard to meet a little girl who loves dogs. While crossing the sidewalk, she suddenly yelped, sat down, and lifted her paw. I'm sure she stepped on SOMETHING, but I couldn't find it. I felt all over her paw and couldn't find anything wrong. I let go of it thinking she'd put it back down. She just sat there with it held up. I checked it over again. Still nothing, so I left it go and noticed she had a silly grin on her face, but was still holding the paw up.

And then?

She set down that paw and picked up the other.

What a faker! The people with the little girl found her utterly silly.

Awww, cute...does she love stuffed toys? I gave all the giant microbes I had to the girls. They're the perfect size for their mouths and Hope loves to catch them. In fact, I just got her 2 more for her upcoming birthday. Hope's going to have rabies and swine flu! =D

LOL adorable. Dahlia does love her stuffed toys, especially if they have a squeaker in them. She loves plush squeaky toys. I saw a tick one of those and thought about getting it for Dahlia (lyme disease and all that) but it looks like a giant arachnid and freaked me out too much. lol

Sophie doesn't like squeaky toys. They sort of freak her out.... it's like she's injured them accidentally.

Aww! That's cute. I guess Dahlia likes thinking she killed them? LOL I've always understood the allure had to do with prey drive. Dahlia loves the noise and it's one of the few things that gets her excited to chase.

one of chasers favorite toys was a pumpkin and when you squeezed it, it said 'trick or treat'. he'd run around the squeezing it and as soon as it said it, he'd cock his head like 'what was that?' or 'where id that come from?' he eventually wore it out.
