Kids can be amusing

We met three kids on our walk today: two girls and one boy. They just adored Dahlia and started telling me about their dogs and other dogs they knew. And then one of them asked her name. I told them and one of the kids said "Her name should be Pillow, because she's soft, like a pillow." One of the others told me they have a fur rug that feels like her. So Dahlia is unofficially renamed Pillow. LOL

We also ran into Riley, the Golden retriever puppy who's now about 4 months old and just cute as can be. He play bows and then immediately rolls over in front of Dahlia. I want to take him home with me.

There's a cool link between kids and dogs. There aren't a lot of kids in our circle of friends, but when they come over, they usually have a lot of fun with Sophie.

We've met a lot of kids who adore Dahlia. So many of them comment on how soft she is. She also LOVES kids.

Haha no they're not always that cute! That much I do know!

I'd say the two girls were around 8ish and the boy looked a little older, maybe around 10.

8... the fabulous age of grade 2! they can read and write on their own! it's a blessing in disguise, really! and 10... the last year of the long lost years of innocence... *sigh* hahaha. :P
