Snowball!

It's snowing like crazy out there. And it's all very wet, dense snow (which is going to be really dangerous for driving and may down power lines, especially when coupled with the wind we're supposed to be getting). And it's all sticking to Dahlia! She looks very concerned about this.

Yes, we've also had the very wet variety of snow in Scotland. My feet were soaked earlier because some of it is already turning to water. But on the pavements and in the gardens it's still white.

one time i put puppy in the tub and sprayed them all away with warm water because there were just so many of them. as soon as he was out of the tub, he wanted to go back outside into the snow again. he wasnt pleased with me that i made him stay in until he was dry.

I'm not sure what David did. When she gets small ones in her paws, I'll use my hand to warm them up and then slide them out of her fur. But there's a LOT of them this time! They probably melted all over our apartment. lol

left to his own devices, puppy chews them out. but it takes time and he makes a big mess on hardwood floors.

Usually she doesn't pick up too many, even trudging through 2-3 feet of snow because it's really cold here and often snows when it's far below the freezing point. But this storm is rolling in when it's right around 32F and so the snow is really really wet.

Megan gets snowballs all over her as well. A little bit of vaseline prevents it, though - just rub some onto your hands and stroke down her legs and tummy before she goes out, and spread a dollop under each paw.

LOL ah the joys of a curly-haired dog! Snow rarely clumps up on Dahlia but this snow is pretty wet and dense so it is. We just took her down to the park and wow, there's a LOT more snow out there than I thought we got. I thought we got maybe 4 or 5 inches, but I think it's closer to 10 or more.

I think you're getting it worse than us. Our weather report just said to expect at least another foot (metro) by ten am tomorrow. But then again, I haven't been outside since about three so maybe it's really ramped up since then.

We could get as much as a couple feet. I think we're getting it worse than I expected. I really thought we had only 5 inches all day, but it was a lot more than that!

Yeeeeeeeah...I spoke too soon. I took Darce out quickly before my shower so I wouldn't have to dry my hair and whoopsie-daisy, at least half a foot had fallen since I was last outside. :X
