OMG guys it was 65 degrees out this afternoon and the SUN finally came out. It's been one hell of a miserable week: rainy, windy, dismal, even a bit of snow that didn't stick around. But today it finally looked spring-like!

After session today, we took Dahlia out to the park with our cameras.

The pics with David are the best. Those are always my fave pics--when you can see the love between a pet and his/her owner. I just love how Dahlia is so obviously leaning into David's embrace, knowing how hugs are often uncomfortable for dogs.

Dahlia LOVES being hugged by her people. She actually sort of "hugs" you if you squat down to her by sitting up on her haunches and putting both paws over your shoulders. She's not your usual dog, that's for sure!

I love love love when dogs enjoy being hugged! That's my favorite thing about some at work. I just sit there and suddenly have a 60 pound lab in my lap wanting to be cuddled :) Frankie is only an affectionate dog on his terms and usually only wants to lay on a part of me instead of actively being hugged.
