First, I forgot to include some of the other photos I got on Thursday that I really liked.
















Today we took Dahlia to another nearby park, Thornden Park, for a little fun. Lots of pictures were had, of course!


This turtle was just sitting in the middle of the road, placed so it looked like it was trying to get back to the side. So strange, so I had to take a photo.



Here's the park. Thornden Park is gorgeous.



Dahlia thinks so too.

And then we met Samson.



Now let me tell you a little story about Samson. Apparently his original name was Spacebag...after some sort of cheap wine. The guy who owned him dumped him as an 8 week old puppy on the couple we met at some gathering and said "Can you watch him?" Then he didn't come back. Eventually he tracked them down and said "I don't want him back, but on his 1st birthday, give him some Spacebag...he really likes it." They were all "um ok sure" and that was the last they saw of the guy. Who on earth feeds any dog wine and most especially a puppy? The couple were horrified. Samson has grown into a great dog and doesn't get any more wine, obviously. Ugh some people are so fucked up.

I know right? The people who own him were all "WHAT THE HELL" too. They told the guy that sure, they'd feed him wine on his first birthday just to get him to go away. What is wrong with people???

Dahlia has the most amazing facial expressions. She's one of the most expressive dogs I know. Who said that you can't see such things on black dogs anyway? Liars, the whole lot of 'em!

The turtle was SO CUTE. I'm kind of regretting not moving it out of the road though. I hope someone else does.
