I finally was able to edit the photos I took of Dahlia when I got home from work today. Here are a few I really like.

ISO-1600. Looks pretty good!



Here's my OMG WTF moment. ISO is 12,800! Pushing the camera to its limits. And it doesn't look BAD.

I love the b&w one. What's the highest iso your camera goes up to? I think mine is 3600 maybe? And if I make it out the pics typically come out fine... it's just when I have both a high iso and a fast shutter speed that I get a lot of noise. Anyway, I really do like the b%w one, it's got a lot of emotion to it!

The highest it goes is 12,800. Insane, isn't it? My A230 only went up to 3200 and they were so noisy they were useless. I'm going to take the camera to class on Sunday, which is inside in a barn. It's not great light so we'll see if I can get any action shots in there that work.

That is crazy! When I saw the number you posted by the picture I really didn't know that was the actual iso!! It'll be interesting to see what kind of pictures you get tomorrow!
