I've been so busy running around I forgot to post pictures from yesterday! I took a lot!
First there were adorable photos of Dahlia hanging out in David's parent's living room.

Belly rub face.

LOL Dahlia

The Rockingham Meetinghouse. I think it was built in 1787.

Noble dog is noble.

The view down the Connecticut River.

David taking his photos with his Mamiya camera.

Dahlia the poser.

Then we went up to Minard's pond for a bit of a walk.

Flopped dog.

Running back to Mommy.

Why hello there.

Have I mentioned how annoyed I am that her fur still has not grown all back. I wish I had never had that stupid cyst removed.

Squirrel?

SQUIRREL!

Tiptoe through thetulips really long grass.

So first there was this.

And then Dahlia was walking across some slippery rocks and all I can figure out that happened is that her right foot slipped on a rock and went to her left and she couldn't stop it and so she just sort of slid into the water butt first. Which means there was this.

That's right, she went in tail and all! MWAH!! And all I could think was "OMG I wish
lemmingpie were here!! Dahlia looked HORRIFIED at being dumped into the water in such an undignified way. And I giggled for a good 30 minutes over her. I wish I had had it on video. Or had a shorter lens on so I could have gotten more than the tail in a picture! Ah well.
Poor wet dog is a lot skinner of a dog than you might think.

Already drying out!

Damn thing is already dry! How is this possible?

Giggling at her wet back end.

We went back to the Rockingham Meetinghouse. We had to abandon it earlier so that David could get another battery for his camera shutter because the one he had died...oops. And then my camera wouldn't seem to focus with my kit lens on. *cue me panicking* As it turns out, the wide angle extension thing comes apart into two parts. One that is the wide angle thing. One that is macro. With just the macro on it couldn't focus on things far away. I ended up with this photo which I kind of like for some reason I cannot explain.

Dahlia hanging out in the cemetery.

Symmetrical building is symmetrical.

"Ima gonna just sit down here until you decide where all you're going."
