It was a gorgeous afternoon here, high 40s and partly cloudy so I decided to take Dahlia down to the park to "take a few photos."
A few turned out to be 312. Oops.
So here they all are!
The pond. It looks a lot prettier than it smells.

Why does my dog take off from sits this way? I really need to take a video. Like she does this weird scramble thing and rises totally up from her rear. She doesn't lean forward and raise herself up with her front. She pushes off 100% with her rear legs so you end up with this.

She also spits her tongue out sometimes.

Playing with her Red Dog Tug!

Lookit how gigantic it is!

Dahlia attempted to get her eye with her tongue. Alas, she does not have the skill Nellie does.

I spent awhile throwing pieces of freeze-dried turkey over Dahlia's head and making her find them. She enjoyed the game once she realized what she was supposed to do. USE THAT NOSE!

So serious.

HOVERLEAF

Happy!

LOL EARS

See, taking off from the rear.

My dog always looks slightly deranged when she runs.

Dead yet?

Treat throwing.

LOL

More Red Dog Tug playing!

She fetched a ball. Once.

Seagulls on a lamppost.

Incoming!

I attempted to stack Dahlia. I did not do a good job. I really have no idea how to stack her and she doesn't like me moving her legs around and will immediately turn or do something weird if I try to move her feet into a different position.

Missing tail!

Can I move now Mom?

Seagulls

High-wire balancing act.

I love the picture of her with her paw up. I solemnly swear that I am up to no good.

Date: 2012-11-18 01:14 am (UTC)Her front legs are definitely too far forward and I feel like her back legs are a bit too. I don't think she's AS straight as she looks here (though she is a bit straight in the back).
