Shiny happy people...

The first song that came on the radio this morning was Shiny Happy People. OMG I LOVE THAT SONG. It just, well, makes me happy. It was a great way to start the day!

Last night Dahlia and I ended up taking a walk around the pond. It was wonderful finally being able to do that after work! I've missed being able to go to the park. Usually by the time I get home it's dark already.

David went to the park yesterday too and got some great pictures of Dahlia and some of her with a girl who wanted to play fetch with her. For anyone who's interested...lol

They also met a girl down there who wanted to throw the ball for her. Amazingly, Dahlia did fetch it. Here's Dahlia side-stepping the girl to escape with her ball.

Oh my gosh, she's so adorable. I've never been a fan of medium to large sized dogs. I think they great pets, just not for me. They over power me *knows she's lame* However, Dahlia is just so adorable, and seems so mild mannered... I would love a dog like Dahlia.

Dahlia is TOTALLY mild-mannered. I've always loved medium-sized dogs (at 50 lbs Dahlia is pretty much in the medium sized area) but I was worried that I wouldn't be able to keep ahold of the leash with a dog that size (largest dog we had when I was young was only 30 lbs). She's pretty calm for the most part and I've found that she's not hard to control.

I don't think I could EVER control a huge dog, like a Great Dane. When the dog weighs almost as much as I do (and some Danes weigh MORE than me and I'm fat! lol!) then forget it.
