So remember how I promised zoo photos a couple weeks ago? Well, I ended up not going because it was Halloween weekend and they do a ton of things for kids those weekends. Which naturally meant the zoo would be overrun with kids. I don't mind kids but TONS of them around zoo animals is never good because they tend to scare the animals into hiding.

So I went instead today. I got there right when it opened and so it was pretty peaceful for some time. A lot of folks showed up and I finally left about noon. But I got plenty of photos. I'm glad I left when I did because something much worse than a large group of kids showed up: a large group of soriety girls! EEK! They were all wearing their letters and they all looked and sounded the same and they were all screeching "DO YOU HAVE A MAP! WHERE DO YOU WANT TO GO LIKE OMG!!"

Yep glad I left then!

So anyway...onto the photos!

Lions and tigers and bears oh my!!...ok, no lions...but there were tiger and bears and WOLVES! )

As some of you may have noted, I love taking pictures. Now, mostly all you've probably seen is Dahlia. Nothing wrong with that I suppose. She's my current favourite subject (sorry to those of you who thought that would die away after a little while!). But I do also enjoy taking pictures of scenic things. So I want to share some of my favourite scenic photos.

You can see some of my absolute favourites here. Starting at the The Twin Falls ones are scanned copies of 35mm pictures, so the quality may not be as good (not a great scanner!).

A few of my favourite dog pictures (not all Dahlia!) are behind the cut.

Some doggies back here...oh and wolves, lions, and penguins! )
